I live in rural Northwest Indiana. I’d like to know of an atheist organization with members in my area. Thank you.

As it happens, I live in Lafayette, which is a little in the southerly part of northwest Indiana, but I’m there. The only thing I can think of for you is the Purdue Non-Theists club. It is a university organization, but open to membership from non-students as well. They occasionally have off-campus meetups, and there’s more info at their website.
I don’t know if you’re close enough to Lafayette for this to be useful, but I hope it helps.

Northwest Indiana I couldn’t tell you, but Indiana as a whole is covered.

Atheist organisations are a bit thin on the ground in Indiana, aren’t they?
The Brights’ Net, not explicitly atheist, may offer you the sort of contact you are seeking. The Brights’ Net is intended to bring together 'People with a naturalistic World View, free of supernatural and mystical elements.’
Have a look here for general information
And here for Indiana-specific information
As I said, Indiana’s not exactly seething with atheists, but you have to start somewhere. Good luck!
