Have you ever had an 'Ask the Atheists’ staff member convert to Christianity or any other religion and if so would you fire them even though it may be illegal under the federal equal opportunity employment act?

We’re all volunteers here, many of us are international, and there’s really no official employment to terminate.
If we became aware of a turncoat (and it hasn’t happened as far as we know) it would be a form of false advertising for questions asked to atheists to be answered by someone who isn’t. I don’t really see a good reason why such a person would want to carry on here anyway.
Therefore I imagine the site owner would ask the person to stop contributing, and that he/she would accept. Perhaps a nice form of closure would be to invite the person to write a piece on his/her conversion, which would be published in the form of a question so the rest of us could respond.

As far as I’m aware, no Ask the Atheists contributor has converted to a religion.
I don’t know what (if any) legal measures would be available for a contributor who had converted to a religion but, for whatever reason, wanted to continue writing for ATA.
There are a couple of factors which I would expect to be relevant:
- Ask the Atheists is a privately run initiative
- Ask the Atheists is not based in the US
- Ask the Atheists contributors are not hired (no money changes hands)
In the unlikely event that a contributor were to use ATA to proselytize for a religion, it seems clear to me that this would be in contradiction with the stated aims of the site. Their evangelising posts would likely be removed.
