Who are some philanthropic atheists?
What has atheism done for humanity / the world, who are some atheists that have contributed to philanthropic causes?
Some people believe that without religion, society would collapse because everyone would behave selfishly & immorally (even though systems of law/morality predated modern religions).

The original billionaire philanthropist, Andrew Carnegie, was an atheist, though he was known to have softened his anti-theism in his later years. The money he made from the sale of US Steel went towards public libraries, universities (Carnegie Mellon) and arts venues such as Carnegie Hall.
